Have you ever been afraid of something, so much so that it consumes your mind and distracts you from what you should be doing instead? We need a Liberator to free us from those fears. Even many of us who long ago have committed ourselves to following Jesus Christ are still under bondage. We’re locked behind religious traditions we’ve been told are pleasing to God -- and though something inside tells us that God doesn’t require adherence to those traditions and activities -- we still experience guilt when we don’t do them? Though we’ve been given our freedom to live in the love of God, we continue to live as if we are bound. Some of us are still in bondage because we do not understand the essence of the freedom God provided for us through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
