The Village is all about relationships. Relationships travel at the speed of trust. And each of us has an amazing ability to love and serve people in humility -- to engage them and share their lives. The Village will help us grow organically, naturally, more like a living plant than an impersonal machine. Like the first century church, “All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” In the first century, people were getting their needs met. How? Was the church developing a program or a department or committee to meet their needs? No, they simply noticed that their brother or sister and neighbors had a need and responded to it naturally.
