Only the Son who has the very nature of God is able to give an accurate account of God. John, the gospel writer, expressly states that Jesus is Son representing the Father in exact essence and with the Authority to act on His behalf -- that Jesus, the Son of God, displays the very nature of the invisible Father. He life is a continuing revelation of the Father. Consequently, the rest of the Gospel is Christ’s unfolding revelation of God the Father.
