GOD: THE LORD WILL PROVIDE
God revealed Himself to be Jehovah-Jireh, the LORD who provides. He wants us to see Him as THE Provider God, and delights when we depend upon Him as Provider. Jehovah-Jireh is a compound name arising from the historical incident where God broke into our existence and acted God-like -- meeting an aspect of real human need (Genesis 22).
