We do not have to DO the beatitudes BEFORE we enter God’s Kingdom, but once we enter, blessings come when we walk in right relationship with God. This is how the Kingdom operates. God has set it up so that when we live in humility before Him, we step into the blessings that are already there for us. He is not waiting for us to perform, but waiting for us to receive. To the humble, Jesus empowers what Jesus expects. if these principles are working in us, we will possess an inward contentment and joy in life that is not dependent upon or affected by our physical circumstances. Today we are studying the sixth attitude that Jesus expects His followers to have: the attitude of purity.
