The third candle of the advent is called the Shepherd’s candle. It represents the joy that God came near and that He came in response to our need for forgiveness and restoration. The shepherd’s simply heard the good news of their Savior’s birth and they simply acted in faith and went to find the baby Jesus. God can get TO you as He has proven over and over again throughout history, but can He get THROUGH you? Will you truly let God work in and through your life this Christmas season?
