We run out of spiritual fuel because we become enamored once again with the cares of this present world. Secondly, we run out of gas because we lose the horror of offending the majesty of God by our sin. Our love for the truth evaporates, our attention to Scripture begins to vanish, and we grow self-reliant rather than Spirit-reliant -- more reasons for our empty spiritual tanks. So this week we look at how we can begin to refuel our spiritual lives.
