“Heat” is required for maturity to take shape. The flavor of the spiritual life is the result of the “heat” of trials and testing. God allows circumstances that test us in order for us to produce fruit. Trials, temptation and tests are part of the human experience -- this isn’t going to change. So what we need to do is learn how to change how we respond to God under testing and trials and then submit to what God is doing in our heart -- a journey lies within.
