God is not the author of pain, confusion or evil. These troubles come from living in a sinful world, prone to erosion and decay, and from sinful people just like us. Welcome to the human condition this side of Eden. Life can wear us out. Life can rob us of our spiritual vitality, and soon we find ourselves in a state of spiritual dullness or even rebellion. As the children of His love, God has given us the tools to regain our spiritual footing. To come back from disaster, we must learn to work with the Word of God.
